Mit der diesjährigen Verleihung des EROTIXXX Award 2010 am Donnerstag, den 21.10.2010, kam es in Berlin zu einem absoluten Novum in der deutschen Award-Geschichte: Denn erstmals wurden mit den EROTIXXX Awards und Venus Awards gleich zwei Awards der Erotik-Branche in einer Stadt und nahezu noch zeitgleich verliehen.
Während die Venus Awards, wie schon berichtet, im Varieté Wintergarten verliehen wurden, fand die Verleihung der EROTIXXX Awards im Rahmen der 1. Erofame Fachmesse statt.
Für die Gala hatte man zumindest einen ebenbürtigen Platz, in Form der Caligari Halle im Filmpark Babelsberg, auserkoren.
Und so trafen sich dann auch dort nationale und internationale Stars, Sternchen und Firmen der Erotikbranche, um sich und ihre Awards zu feiern.
Neben den EROTIXXX Awards wurden zuvor noch die WIBA-Awards (Web & Mobile interactive Entertainment Awards) vom Fachmagazin WEBeLINE verliehen.
